Portfolio Space and Database
Membership of the Portfolio Space and Database allows you to have your own Portfolio
on Latent Light organised by categories of your own choosing. Your images will also
appear in the main Database from which customers purchase images. Customers can
view your images in either the main Database or your own Portfolio and
buy your images in a number of different product formats.
Adding descriptive keywords to
your images enables customers to locate your images (and others like them) in the main database via word searches.
The keywords also dictate under which Categories your images appear within the main Database.
You have the option to set up your own Categories within your Portfolio enabling you to group
your photographs in sets of your choosing.
Images can now be uploaded directly to your Portfolio instead of sending
them to us on CD or DVD. Upon receipt images are retained in a holding area until they have
been checked and approved by us. Once payment has cleared the images will automatically appear in your Portfolio.
The site automatically calculates the size and ratio of uploaded images,
assigning the print sizes and products suitable for each individual
image.
Every 6 months our Editor chooses images to appear in the Collections section of the website and every month
a photographer is randomly choosen as our featured photographer and has a link from the homepage.
